Back in the Saddle Again (Whew!)

If you’ve tried to access this blog for the past week or so, you found it unaccessible. I had a problem with the feed and that led me to try a solution that didn’t work. I discovered tonight that my site’s Control Panel’s Fantastico had finally updated to include the WordPress 2.3.2 upgrade. So I let Fantastico do the upgrade. Thank Heavens, the site was live again.

Now I still had the issue of the feed not working. I went to Feedburner.com and looked about there. I had it Troubleshootize the feed. Then I did some more research. I next replaced one of the feed files and set its chmod attributes appropriately. That seemed to do the trick. The feed was working again.

Now I’m off to back up the whole affair to my hard drive, as soon as I post this. It’s a scary thought to think of losing all you’ve invested in a blog. Backups will definitely be on my plate from now on.
