Australian Greens Senators Bob Brown & Rachel Siewert speak at the Convergence on Canberra rally.On Tuesday 12th February 2008, people from all around Australia came together for "Convergence on Canberra", calling for an immediate review of the NT Intervention, restoration of the Racial Discrimination Act, Aboriginal control of Aboriginal affairs, and implementation of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous peoples.

Its a shame the Greens are the only party with any backbone in Australia. Thank god The Greens exist they are the only party with any convictions and political nouce. |
