when did he lie... nobody hates bush more than me... but as a soldier i understand where he's coming from. Duty comes before personal beliefs... you cant do any good from your couch. He stayed around because he didnt know what else to do with the farce he had to work with...

There is some other comment about that, where he asked Bush "Is this Intelegence ok? Can we back it up with hard facts?" or something similar, he thought it was real.

From Collin Powells perspective and the law of order in his military career. He was doing what any other Soilder is required to do. "Follow orders. That includes following orders you may not agree with." Ref the war, the american people who voted for this Adm in & directly responsible for the actions.

If he had been been a true patriot he would have resigned and told the world that Bush is going to start a war that is based on lies. He just went along with the treason because he didn't want to risk his career.

All Powell had to do was not stand infront of the world with his vile of anthrax and saying that Saddam was making weapons of mass destruction, dragging the USA into a illegal war. This whole interview is a save your ass interview. Powell should be in prison for high treason. Hes a war criminal plain and simple.
