I don't think he's right on this point. Freedom is a function of your heart not your circumstance.A jailed man can be free where a free man can be enslaved.Fullfilling ones duty can settle the mind and can help a sincere seeker find enlightenment.He sounds as if he would rather have us be a slave to our passions instead of than our families.

Notice how 99.9% of children today are not really guided by their parents and do not listen to their parents. Society is what shapes children into the adults that they will become, any psychologist will tell you this.

I used to love this guy...agree with what he says here. I think the family unit's pretty outdated...full of hypocrisies and unnecessary obligations we'd all be happier without. It's true that children grow up like their parents, and often end up feeling bitter in the same old ways. Shame it continues...
