For sure. I just wanted to let people know what the song was really about. Music is subjective to us all. It can mean many different things upon many different ears... Many here proved this is a coping song for someone lost and I think that is what is most beautiful about music.

"Time is the space between me and you" in a sense that you need to recover and the only thing holding us from each other is time. All healing processes take time. Like rehab.. people check in and then come out weeks/months later. That is where the metaphor comes in.

I think ppl should just be aloud to interpet the song in there own way, even if it is a wrong interpetation. If it makes ppl feel happy or content inside, then job done i say.

I don't think you know for sure what it is about. Seal changes his own lyrics, sometimes. I think it's about dying in general. "Time is the space between me and you" doesn't really mesh with someone being on drugs, but it does go with someone talking ro a dead loved one or something. I don't know. |
