I know that beleiving in God is a hard thing. If I use reason as you have I probably would come to the same conclusion as you. As for myself I don't need anyone to tell me God exist as I know He does beyond a shadow of a doubt as I have heard his voice. He called my name as clear as if He was one foot away from my ear 60 years ago. I had just gotten into bed when He called me by my real name which no one in my family ever did, I answered but Got no reply. Can I prove it was God? No, but IT WAS!

What I have just said, which really is the Christian Revelation, is impossible.A virgin birth is more likely then that.Walking on water is more likely then that.A resurrection is more likely then that.Furthermore, if it was true then that would have one of two further implications:1) The designer of this plan was unbelievably lazy and inept.or2) He was callous and cruel and indifferent and capricious.

According to the Christian faith, heaven watches this with folded arms for thousands and thousands of years, and then finally decides to intervene.And the best way of doing that would be a human sacrifice in primitive Palestine, where the news would take so long to spread that it still hasn't penetrated very large parts of the world.And that would be our redemption of the human species.

let's go back in time to when man kind was in its infancy. 1,000,000 years, 100,000 years, 6,000 years ago, whatever you believe.Humans would usually either die in birth or kill it's mother in birth. We had a life expectancy for only about 20 to 15 years. dieing usually related to the teeth (very painful) or of hunger, or of micro organisms that they didn't know existed, or of natural events like hurricanes and volcanoes. Also dying from tribal wars over women, food, land, etc.
