i see the similarities between i saw mommy kissing Santa Claus, but only because you just now mentioned it. i NEVER would have made that connection had you not pointed it out. and i think this song is original enough to not be called plagiarism.

that wasn't planned at all was it apparently? the bit driving away in the taxi was one shot of the whole video and she spontaneously started crying like that, and they decided to stick with that and use it as the whole video. its such a beautiful song - i love this

Are you kidding me? This chick was nominated for a Grammy?! I have heard 2 songs by her, and they are both plagarized. I like how she is not the typical crap you hear nowadays, but c'mon! You can't steal hooks and be nominated for a Grammy!
