Great information! And it's irrelevant where it comes from:as though a doctor who gets all expenses paid by the pharma industry in order to promote any product is more trustworthy. Some of you posting here eager to HPV vaccined have a strange desire to unconditionally obey all "authority" on the matter - be it pharma industry or corrupt doctors, instead of thinking for yourselves. Morons like you allow the pharma industry to cash in.

I'll listen to you when you have a medical doctorate.

As regarding your interpretation of the VRBPAC Background Document , the section you refer to is the efficacy of the vaccine in reducing CIN 2/3 lesions in women ALREADY INFECTED with HPV and being blood and serum PCR positive. Of course there was a reduced efficacy in lowering the number of high grade lesions in this subgroup , thats the whole point of vaccinating girls BEFORE they are thus infected ! It did not show an "increase in disease " caused by the vaccine as you state.

And what exactly are his scientific qualifications that mean you SHOULD trust him ? You might as well trust someone who stands up on a soapbox on a street corner ! Get real !

Distortion of the facts by this speaker. Yes MOST HPV infections are not linked to cervical cancer : that is fact. But a PROPORTION of infections, linked to 16 and 18 types , 90% or more, will progress with genetics and smoking to cervical changes and cancer. Merely looking for viral types present AT ONE POINT IN TIME will not help identify those women at risk , they could acquire it in the future , or have dormant HPV in cells.

I appreciate your concern, but I think I am going to continue listening to my doctor. Did u know once u catch HPV, even if u show no symtpoms and it clears up on its own, the virus stays in your body for your entire life? U only have to catch it once and it can surface at anytime and infect others thruought your entire life. A vaccine is surly needed.
