There's something odd about the way Lynch promotes transcendental meditation. Sometimes he seems sincere, and only as eccentric as you might expect from his movies. Other times it seems like an elaborate joke, satirising organisations like the "Church" of Scientology and their relationship with celebrity.

Even more-so, he's testing the boundaries of the german religious-polititical-socioligy, by taking a guy with supposedly different values, and having the guy spout off stuff similar to nazi rhetoric to see how far he can take it and in short, maybe the germans learn a bit about themselves and what they can tolerate these days.

an important detail is, that islam is a major religion like the Jewry, Christianity, Buddhism or Hinduism, and has the same eligibility. i will not rate what´s better nazi germany or any of these religions, because i don´t think any one can do it clinical. like - a christian would probably say islam is better than nazi germany, but the christian moral has more interference with the islam moral then with the nazi ideology. but who can tell me, that the christian moral is right respectively good
