I didnt know Cathy Smith was his ex-girlfriend, I know she was one of his background singers. I also know she is the one who administered John Belushi's fatal speedball fix and did time for it.

This is a catchy tune, but musically boring, plus the lyrics are complete gibberish. Nothing makes any sense. It's as if they were written by a foreigner learning English.
