I have listened to this video so many times, and it never fails to move me to tears...

Milstein has better technique than Perlman. I like Perlman a lot but I prefer Milstein's playing over Perlman's.

I love that milstein is able to express the musical content so articulately without getting stuck on the notes. Thats what sets him apart from all other violinists in my opinion. At 1:33 he is essentially playing double stops which is not what is written but it sounds ok. He does these kinds of things a lot. He was just a phenomenal musician.

''But this guy is still good''.Have some respect this ''guy'' is as good as Heifetz and one of the best violinists ever, if not the best.

if u think this guy is better than perlman well u better check him out. Perlman and heifetz's are the best i reckon. But this guy is still good

stunning virtuosity. Milstein: never a showboat although he had technique to burn. What an incredible man, and so humble. I too would punch anyone who uttered a bad word about Milstein. he is a god of the violin.
