Joe cocker's version got soul and ringo's doesn't?Joe cocker sounds like he's trying way to much to get soul in it but it just won't sound like a beatle... his version sucksRingo here amazes every time I here it, the simple way he sings it is where all the magic...just my opinion

Trying to get a point across. Beatle fans (and music fans in general) Hold the Beatles in a class of their own. Besides Ringo. I don't really mean "Disgrace", I HAVE listened to Joes verison and I DO like it. The point I am trying to make is that if any other Beatle were singing this same song with the same tune and lyrics, it would be ~TEH GREATEST SONG EVA!!!11~ But because its Ringo singing, everyone else thinks any old cover is better. My point? Everyone shits on Ringo For no reason.

(again great spelling) Umm, I can't recall a time Paul was ever in hiding and I'm pretty sure he had the least difficult life of the four. I think that you're jokes would be a lot funnier if you learnt to spell lol.

Simply because I know if it were John or George or Paul or even a '5th' Beatle singing this no one would dare disgrace a Beatle like that. But not Ringo. Remind me why people don't like him again? The Beatles changed our world. I was ll yrs old when the Beatles came to America. I cried when I saw them and wanted to run to England to marry Paul. I lived in the magical days of Beatlemania.
