Jesus, Cam, get a clue. The reasons given for the Iraq war were: 1) Iraq brutalized their own people. 2) Iraq flouted UN restrictions on weapons programs. 3) Iraq funds and trains terrorists. 4) Iraq might supply WMDs to terrorists. 5) Iraq is a threat to its neighbors. These were all TRUE. The invasion was the culmination of a 15-year buildup encompassing 3 presidencies and 8 Congresses. Knock of the brainless sound bites and learn a little history, willya?

I'm wondering what the point of this video is. 1) Nobody ever is permitted to change their mind? 2) The situation was different in 2003 than it was in 1991; specifically, 30 other nations were involved. 3) It's clearly NOT the quagmire he envisioned; no parts of Iraq have spun off. So, what's the point? Just another brainless leftist sound bite -- "Cheney said it would be a quagmire!!!" Honestly, are you folks even capable of reason beyond 5 second sound bites? |
