Macs aren't lacking in customization You can customize the interface all you want; I have my dock and menu bar tweaked quite a bit. On the hardware front you can customize a Mac in any way you can imagine, it's just that most people don't have the guts. "Disinformation" means false information spread by a person or group of people, in the case of my comment the disinformation is spread by the PC zealots. Anyway, I find it kind of funny how computing has become a holy war of sorts.

i understand what your saying. a part of that is the lack of customization though that macs lack. i really like macs, but i cant help but feel like im missing something whenever i use one. and what do u mean by "disinformation"?

Absolute awsome video! I love the Get a Mac Ads, but somthing like this would be much more effective if you ask me!

Well, technically, Macs do. A Dell or HP laptop with stats, insurance, features, and OS comparable to a Mac laptop are roughly the same cost. It's just that Apple actually tells you the total cost from the beginning, whereas other vendors BS you quite a bit; I did a comparison with my MacBook Pro and other laptops (Dell) before I bought. The Dell's advertised price was roughly $940 USD different from what it actually was. Macs are just surrounded by a cloud of disinformation, sadly.

I love the intro - with Steve Jobs quoting Dylan - Dunno how to explain what it feels like.

It's Steve Jobs, from the 1984 keynote, as I recall. |
