its not wealth envy, its the simple fact a CEO must NOT take a bonus/ pay raise at the SAME TIME a worker at the bottom is asked to take a pay cut/ lay off THAT HAS BEEN MY WHOLE POINTit goes like this with republicans running businessceo pay cut = communismlabor pay cut = returning the company to profitibalityif supply is high along with demand EVERYONE sould take part in profit shareing if these things are low than NO ONE should take partjust how i see it

stlad, geez, nothing I said last week got through to you? Workers deserve their wages and not one penny more, PERIOD. Remember? You should run your own business enterprise someday. It doesn't have to be large or even full time. Even if it's a small booth at a weekend flea market, or a small service of some kind. If you do that, your whole attitude would change, and you might finally realize that business owners are working stiffs just like you, and deserve all of their profit.

Good luck trying to convince this dolt about supply and demand. Wealth envy obsessed people are too blind to rationality and facts.

force businesses to share some of the vast wealth with the people that help produce it. American businesses take in trillions of dollars every year. Is it too much to ask that they share a pittance of it with the people responsible to bringing it to them? We've all read or heard stories of executives with multi-million dollar bonuses, even with companies that lose money. A few dollars extra per hour for the poorest of the poor shouldn't hurt that much.

Cool,i stand (somewhat) corrected thanI did watch those interviews but did not know they were republican/concervative leaningas long as both parteis show flaws in there thinking with your interviews im cool with that

stlad, you're right, workers can quit a union job, but can a company quit a union workforce? Not really. Contracts may prevent them from firing everyone and replacing them with non-union workers, not to mention the riots that would probably occur. The unions extort from the companies, not the workers (unless you count the union dues that workers forced to pay.) |
