yuo no you said that his kness start to crack and wires in his neck brake etc.. is there anythnig u can do if this happens or do you have to get a new one or can u jsut repalce the skin or fix the wires or anything

3)The wires in Pleo's neck are somewhat fragile. Headstands have been shown to break the wires so that Pleo can no longer move it's head properly. It's worth noting that none of that seems to be discouraging new owners from taking the plunge. I'm betting the "cute" factor outweighs the potential problems. :)Me, I'm waiting for a sturdier or less expensive version. ;)

2)The battery can overheat. When it does Pleo will go to sleep to let it cool down. Pleo has been made to not walk around too much, intentionally to help avert overheating. In many cases the battery has had to be replaced within the first year, but after the warranty ran out. The replacement battery costs about $50.

FYI: Pleo does a few known issues. There are threads on them at the official Pleo forum. 1)The skin wears within months, so that experienced owners are recommending new owners buy little shirts to protect the skin. Within four months to a year the skin is likely to begin to crack in places, especially at the knees.
