definitely Fe2O3 is best. mixing sulfur will make it easier to ignite but it will burn at a slightly cooler temperature.

well seeing as thermite was invented by the Germans I suggest you do your research using old WWII documents and things of the sort, also might be worth looking at railroad building because it is used to weld railroad tracks together a lot.

fuckin spot on!!! wondering about the chemistry. what oxide do you think is best?? i tried to iron oxides Fe2O3 and Fe3O4 the first one was best. I want to try copper oxide. does anyone know if it gets better with if i mix sulphur to it?? |
