Melina Mercouri is not an example female beauty with her long nose and excessively thin legs. Besides, she sings out of tune.But that's not the point. This song is incredible. I agree, as the saying does, that only greeks could sing it. I don't know what that song means for the greeks, but I've seen hard, strong greek men living in my country - Bulgaria with tears on their faces when the that song sounds. It seems, the song is touching something deeply in their hearts.
