it doesnt hurt at all and i did mine myself haha so dont worry, she wasnt crying uz of the pain, her eyes were jus watering.

when i got mine done the worst bit was the tongs to hold it. the piercing itself doesn't hurt

There's no point. It's jewelry. What's the point of ear rings? Necklaces?Needle is better. They're sterile, instead of the gun that could give you HIV or hepatitis. And the needles are sharper than the blunt stud so it doesn't hurt as much.

Thats not actually true cause when using a gun the stud is making the hole, not a needle.So its the stud that gets pushed through the skin, and seeing as thats just out its packet its sterile.

The gun actually isn't better, because they can't/won't and don't sterilize it so it's not as clean as using a sterilized needle. If they have the gun at the place where you go to get a piercing, go somewhere else.
