Well you are alone on that. Schmidt is indeed a genius. When he took the reins at Google they were a Search company. He has turned them into an IT titan in just a few years. What a lot of people don't realize is he was far ahead of his time when he was at Novell as well. Corel WordPerfect was a great app and at one time was 50% of the Word Processor market until Microsoft decided to lock it out of their OS. Schmidt's resume speaks for itself.

Schmidt at Google and Salesforce are absolutely right. The future is in web-based apps. This will hopefully untie us from the Windows-based dilemma and open up the PC computing world to browser-based apps and a truly open and competitive market. then we will see new excitement and innovation.Good work, Mr. Schmidt.
