ISDs are not designed for planetary bombardment. In terms of orbit-to-surface weaponry, the VSD is approximately four times stronger. Comparing orbit-to-surface weaponry to space-to-space weaponry is invalid.

Fed would easily win. Plasma is matter and like photon torpedos is deflected by federation shields. Turbo lasers' main component is plasma. To support my theory if it took an isd an hour to destroy the surface and 20 weak star trek ships to destroy a planet's crust which is many times thicker. IT took five hours to destroy the mantle. A galaxy class battle ship can thus destroy a planets' surface in 14 minutes at the most. Do the math and it has more than 7 times the firepower of an isd.

WTH? This is not real! It's not even a situation imagined by the characters' creators! The phasers are ergonomic nightmares? They do that stuff to look cool on TV, not as any practical stipulation of how futuristic weapons might look. It might seem like a good idea to pretend these things are real, but it's not- these things are good for TV and movie purposes, and will not stand up to analysis. Just enjoy them they way they were meant to be watched.

This is possibly the worst thing i have come across on youtube. A great concept, but the video seems to have been put together by infants. Bad show, guys.
