That's pathetic. When the lights go out, a homeless person doesn't get to eat. They still go without food. It's pathetic that you think you're justified and that you're actually doing something great and for God. You're doing it for yourself. You have to be told when to fast, and when you do so, you don't really fast. All you're doing is prolonging your eating time until dark. Sad, sad, sad. An entire month is devoted to massive fasting for the glory of MEN. You do it for yourselves.

yes u r right...suffering ur physical self isnt fasting to the completion...it is to empathize and understand people who have to deal with this issue everyday...but i think fasting as wat u say will never be starving 30 days on straight...nobody could do that...ofcourse u dont know how a person's heart and purpose for fasting is...so that doesnt give u the right to judge the difference between fasting and starving..

Umm, I know I have it right. Fasting DOES mean starving yourself for as long as you need to. It means FASTING, NOT EATING. If you can eat and drink after dark, it's not fasting. You're just prolonging the time that you eat or drink. FASTING is for SUFFERING, to make us stronger in SPIRIT. You're either not suffering or you're only suffering for half of the day that you're awake. That's not fasting. |
