This goes on in a lot of black churches, maybe not as direct or magnified by the media but it does. Rappers have been saying things like this for years also, everyone from Public Enemy, Ice Cube to Kanye West. Bush blowing up the towers and white government bringing aids into black communities, thats campfire talk for blacks. J. Wright is absolutely right on some things.

All I have to say is the media is bullshit for not sticking with this. Obama is a Marxist and a racist. Time will show this eventually. Liberals can defend these guys all they want but deep down they can't see past their own selfishness. They blame everything on Bush and therefore put it on the Rep. party. Bush did a damn fine job in most aspects, you are ignorant and need to take an economics 101 class if you don't think so.

Better read some of McSame mentor, Ron Parsley's vile, hateful words, before you judge.Obama is half caucasian, raised mainly by his maternal gparents in Hawaii, where he attended public school, had friends of all races. Wright isn't speaking against caucasians, just the gov't..and I don't know ONE American who hasn't spoken badly abt the gov't.

While I may not personally agree with Jeremiah Wright's every word, saying he "should not be called an American" because he speaks out against a government which is far from perfect is laughable. Folks the good ole USofA has done it's fair share of dark things around the world... but we as Americans only see what we choose to see. If you want to look at it from a "Christian" perspective and apply the classic WWJD logic, we've done a lot of things that go against Christian teachings...

Historical evidence shows that the firebombings of Tokyo were winning the war and with just a small amount of time would have won the war. We dropped the first bomb because it's what the American public wanted. We dropped the second because we wouldn't accept surrender from anybody other than the Royal family.You should get your facts straight before posting such a lie.
