The dish has to be aligned to an accuracy of 0.5 degrees. It can be done without a meter but it's not easy. The first time you try it, allow up to 3 days.

Generally, yes, unless the reason for the poor signal is leaves or similar obstruction. A zone 2 dish should give roughly double the signal and is especially recommended for SkyHD in the UK. See SatCure web site for more info.

does a bigger satellite dish gaurantee a better signal?... im using a 43cm zone 1 dish and only getting a 26 signal level.. is a 60cm zone 2 dish certain to get an improved signal level?
