agreed. seeing a band you thought adhered to values that were at odds with a company they let use their music is kind of a mind fuck...pkus its not just "one commercial" we are talking about an immense network of information

I see what you mean. your take becomes clear towards the end of the video. more specifically, right where the shot of that guy running through the crowd of people comes up.one if the themes is religion. and how religion can make people do some very, as you put it, crazy things. it is unclear whether or not the books themselves frown upon these things or not. but in the end, it really doesn't matter.

I think that the underlying theme, if you can really call it that, is that there is beauty and joy in every action, no matter how absurd.

musical hugs!

one of my favorite videos. i feel like the underlying theme here is the phoniness of religion (not to offend anyone).very moving. their video style (like their music) is very much distinct.

i'm perpetually moved by the seamless use of movement and imagery with the music. listening to the books with your eyes closed is one thing, but having such a vivid and unpredictable picture painted for you is completely overwhelming. it makes me want to cry.

in this era we are exposed to more advertisements and different forms of information than ever before. The fact that commercials even exist effects the framework of our brain because it requires us to either accept, ignore, or scrutinize the content of available media on a daily basis.

No. Commercials affect your impression and image of said product. If you are a mindless comsumer who follows the crowd and is easily influenced by a good song and some flashy marketing, then I'd agree with your statement. |
