Palin's experience was of minimal value b/c she lives in an unpopulated state. Further, her corruption came to light over the course of the campaign. The real issue is that she's extraordinarily ignorant, as shown in every interview that wasn't with someone from Fox "News." Had McCain picked Ron Paul for VP, I might have voted for him. Obama has a very difficult road ahead of him thanks to all that Bush had done over the last 8 years, but I think he and Biden were still the better choice.

I didn't vote for the McCain/Palin ticket, but it's hard to deny that Newt is right in this case. She is more experienced as an executive than Obama. Obama is more experienced as an intellectual.
