"We Kpaxians have figured something out which you humans do not yet know. The universe will expand.... and then it will collapse back on itself. After it has collapsed everything will be as it is now. And all the mistakes you have made you will relive over and over. So I suggest you get it right this time. Because this time is all you have."

I've checked it out quite thoroughly but Christianity is very unappealing to me. I've always preferred Sufism, Buddhism and the Indian Vedantic teachers. Less blood , more deep awareness. Different folks , different strokes. Eckhart has managed to distill the essence of Zen Buddhism and Vedanta and make it easily accessible,,,I like that.

haldor72. The Talmud. The Talmud is a collection if rabbinical writings. Not inspired scripture. In Matthew 21;2&3 discribes how Jesus tells His disciples to go and get a colt, and if the owners ask what they are doing they were to tell them that the Lord needs it, and that they would then Give it to them, for the Lord's use. This was done to fulfill prophesy.

haldor72. Jesus said that He did not come to destroy the law, but to fulfill it. If He is calling Himself the Son of God, and He really is the Son of God, then He has broken no laws. He wasn't asking for trouble, but He certainly knew he was going to get it. He knew he was going to die.The Jews got the Romans involved by saying that Jesus was a threat to Rome, by causing dissention. Pilate Knew He was not guilty, but the crowd said that Pilate was "no friend of Ceasar", if he let Him go.

Yes they (the Sanhedrin) accused him of blasphemy, which he did in fact commit under Jewish law . As Yeshua had previously stated that he didn't come to change that law one jot -then I guess he was asking for trouble. The Romans however never crucified for blasphemy against the Jewish God . Why would they care? However the Talmud speaks of a horse thief called Yeshua who was hanged . Remember the story of the disciples stealing the colt? That would have been punishable by death under local law.
