Ask your brother in law, that's all I have to say. You are putting far too much into this. Yes, if you were arrested for murder then INTERROGATED, you would have to be read your Miranda Rights. These people were arreseted for a misdemeanor (I'm assuming disorderly conduct or some city ordinance against unruly protest or a protest permit violation), so they do not have to be read their rights, because they are arrested and then booked, but never INTERROGATED.

Otherwise i could be arrested for murder, confess to the murder, and said confession would be inadmissible in court. You're a fool, but i guess in jackpipe land you're always right.

Oyouarehereo, you need to ask your brother in law about this, because you are making yourself out to be dumb. You might say that I am sort of a subject matter expert on this, but you DO NOT HAVE TO READ MIRANDA WARNINGS TO EVERYONE YOU ARREST AS A POLICE OFFICER. You must only read the warning to those who you have in custody (either detained or arrested) that you are interrogating. I've done my homework, time for you to do yours.

Actually Jackpipe, you're an idiot. My brother in law is a police officer in Ohio, so i think i would know. You should read up before you open your mouth. Why do you think all cops have to keep a card of the Miranda rights with them on patrol? You have to be read your Miranda rights when you are arrested, not detained, otherwise anything said is inadmissible in court. Do your homework.

I guess it's safe to say, that our Constitution is and will continue to be ignored by those who swore an oath to protect and serve. Why are our leaders so intolerant when it comes to the Constitution/freedom and protection, but tolerant when it comes to everything else? I would really like to know what they were charged with.
