You're kinda right, except all 4 big cats fall under the genus panther. That includes; the lion, tiger, leopard and jaguar. A black panther usually refers to a melanistic (completely black) leopard or jaguar...I have never seen or heard of a melanistic lion or tiger. The two cats in this video are both Jaguars, one is melanistic and the other is not.

a panther is also a term for a black cat.. either a jaguar or leopard.. but it's still a jaguar.. no such thing as a feline species called panther.

He lost because the jaguar is the stronger and better predator of the two. Cats are highly evolved; especially big cats; so are snakes. However cats are better adapted to fighting. They use up a lot of their energy in a short time, dont got enough stamina; but they usually end it pretty fast just like this time. To end a fight fast a cat needs weapons, and for that purpose it has its teeth and claws on top of its heavily muscled build which all big cats share except for the cheetah.
