Consciousness, conscious thought, doesn't develop until after months of stimulation and growth following the birth. In the vomb you're not conscious. :)

Harris said what it was. A Chimera.

Embryos will split into 2 separate entities and then will rejoin itself into a single entity again. I can't remember the scientific name for this but it is a document phenomenon that occurs in the womb. So if you existed at conception and you split into 2 seperate embryos, does that mean you are inherently a split personality? If not what happened to the other life that folded into you when the other embryo joined you. Did you kill it? Food for thought.

Wtf? That's like saying "i'm not white, i'm christian!"

I see your point in the matter, but. You may "exist" in your mother's womb, but you may not be concious. That, to me, is the key arguement.

I agree on Mr. Harris with much of this. I disagree on the embryo part. I'm an atheist, but I belive life begins at conception. It's a matter of time. You can't exist today if you didn't exist when you were born. You can't exist at birth unless you existed at conception. It's a matter of simple physics. We exist in length, width, breadth, and TIME.

Jews are a race. Believe me, I heard about it all the time when I lived in Boca FL...."I'm very good looking, I'm Jewish".... I kid you not...

Judaism is a religion, not a race. Same as a Ralph Nader not being of Christian blood, but Lebanese blood.Dirty bombs don't kill many people right away, just a higher incidence of cancer years down the road, it's not all that speculative. |
