On January 30, 1972, British troops opened fire on unarmed and peaceful civilians in Derry, Ireland during a civil rights march. This music video is a tribute to the 14 killed and others wounded - combining video/music of U2, video from "Bloody Sunday" (2002 movie), and photographs from that terrible day.

well, of course the English are responsible for this massacre but the reality of this conflict is not black and white simplealthough my heart is with the Irish, I'm against the violent response to the Bloody SundayI can only repeat that violence is not a solutionand I totally agree with your view that telling the historical truth is necessary

The whole tribunal was a gimmick. There were shots fired at the soldiers and so they did what they are trained to do. Opened fire.

a billion pound tribunal by the british concluded that there had been no shots fired by the crowd. it was a peacefull protest trying to mimic marthin luther kings civil rights movement.......sad day for ireland
