xbr: the passage you site is in John 14:..it is Jesus telling Philip, who He is and why He is came to earth.He says if you have seen ME, you have seen the Father.He goes on to say:"I do not speak on My own authority, but the Father who dwells in Me does the work." Then He goes on to describe the Holy Spirit who will be working in any beleivers lives, when Jesus is ascended and in Heaven after His ressurrection.This passage is NOT an endorsement of us being "gods",but being "helped" by Trinity.

Religion and dogma will always be a poor substitute for the wisdom that comes from presence and choosing one's own path. Religion is the lazy way to a man-made god. It merely requires obedience, and promises future rewards (or punishment if abandoned ..there's the trap of religion!). Genuine spiritual maturity requires conscious choice, searching and leaving behind & humility until such presence is felt that searching ends - no promised rewards, no threats of punishment - just the bliss of now.

Hi, gladly. I read it from KJV (king james version bible, but any bible has it, or dont they? do every bible has their own truth?),not at home at the moment so can't tell exact location (as far as i can remember it's from John evangelion on 14:?), search for Philip conversation with Jesus after his resurrection when he says "Lord, show us the Father, and that will satisfy us." And read all 20 lines after.

the texts from bible are so deep, you you're just look at it through a very shallow way...sure god is everythings essience, and ofcourse there's no other essience. then? and tolle tell us to harmony with the essience, so it's harmony with god...
