Might want to look at an EMD prime mover or a Detroit Diesel 2 cycle (like the 71 series for example) and then repost your retraction that 2 stroke diesels don't have vales :D Time's a wast'n!

two cycle engines have ports, not valves. It's not possible for a two cycle engine to have valves due to the way the two cycle engine works.

Uh, the pushrods and rockers are clearly visible on the sides and tops of the cylinders. Each cylinder has 2 valves. |
