Man how boring are the seminars - and the salesmen are like J-ho witnesses... I have never met anyone cool who sells this stuff... i always think of Grannies and Aunites with smelly breath

Lying? Care to point out a single lie?Amway is not based on an exponential growth model. Clearly you've misunderstood the strategy of network marketing and the simplified model of it's explanation for the actual foundation of how the business model works - which is no different to any other business: Sell more products to more people, make more money.

*sigh* you can keep lying all you want, but the internet will screw folks like you every time. People will do the research and see the trail of lies Amway spews and run fast and far. The fact of the matter is, at it's simplest inacarnation Amway is based on a flawed exponential growth model. People like you have obviously fallen so far under Amway's indoctrinational thrall that if they told you water was poison, you'd die of thirst trying to prove the concept. Good luck with your dream!

Gee, notice how many of those cases don't even have Amway has a defendent? Dear oh dear. But so? I never claimed there were no lawsuits. You've listed what, 20 or 30, for a 50 year old company. Your claim is that Amway - "gets sued more by it's former employees (IBO's, heh) than any other company."No other company has been sued more than 20 times in 50 years by former employees and business contractors? Get a clue man. A search on Justia finds 66 cases involving WalMart *just this year*

And more cluelessness. P&G did not successful sue Amway for formenting rumours. The case against Amway was thrown out. Multiple times as it happens, since P&G kept court shopping. A case against a handful of Amway (and former Amway) distributors is still proceeding, with the latest status having the defendents appealing a ruling in favour of P&G.Re FTC vs Amway, it's funny how you don't mention Amway is widely regarded to have won that case, as it was declared a legitimate business.

Hayden - 7/24/97, Brig Hart - 4/8/97, Procter & Gamble Texas - 7/16/97, Rick Setzer - 7/17/86, Touchton - 3/96, Gommeringer, 9/85, Procter & Gamble Utah - 8/95, Hanrahan - 7/94, All-Tech Telecom - 6/94, Baker - 6/91, Heckart - 1985 Cairns, 1984, Bartlett - 1984, National Music Publishers Association - 10/96 Recording Industry Association of America, 2/96 Didn't even bother with the most recent ones. Would you like those as well? Face it, Amway is a 21st century snake oil scam.

Dear oh dear. If you try spinning any more the earth is going to stop. The Canadian case was finished in 1983, and was about events that happened in the early 70s - more than 30 years ago. I recommend reading the DeVos and Van Andel books to get the other side of the story, instead of relying on, apparently, little more than what you read on amway critics websites. Make your own *informed* judgement - or chose to stay ignorant. Your choice.

Other cases against Amway? How much time do you have?FTC ordered Amway to stop retail price fixing and allocating customers among distributors.Amway was ordered to pay $100,000 as a penalty for violating the ruling.P & G successfully sued Amway for formenting rumours.Let's not even mention innumerable civil suits against Amway by people who've lost their life savings trying to achieve the Amway "Dream". But since you asked...

Again, stop lying. The case was settled in in 1989. That would be 19 years ago. Doesn't make it any less relevant. "Have you read the case?"Yes. Obviously, you have not. Have you read the books by DeVos and Van Andel where they talk about it?Because DeVos and Van Andel as the founders of Amway would be so incredibly impartial about it, right? Nothing like propoganda to try and prove a point.
